Aries FilterWorks GAC/KDF Filter Cartridge AF-10-2010 is standard filter that fits most standard 10 x 2.5 inch housings and contains 0.5 lb KDF/GAC media. It is a replacement filter for many cartridges that contain Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon and KDF / Eagle Redox Alloy media. KDF filters work via oxidation-reduction (redox) process to remove metals , chlorine, hydrogen sulfide and a number of other contaminants. When mixed with granular carbon, KDF significantly extends the life of a filter. Aries KDF/GAC Filter AF-10-2010 Features: AF102010 fits most standard 10"x2.5" filter housings.
